What does a typical working day at Solarlux look like for you?
Every day is different, depending on which shift I'm working. My main tasks include answering the phone, welcoming customers and looking after the academy. Every day brings different exciting things and I'm always on the go. It's definitely never boring.
What has particularly struck you about Solarlux so far?
The positive attitude! I was welcomed with open arms and everyone was incredibly helpful. I immediately felt at home and come to work every day with a smile.
What was your favourite travel destination?
Saxon Switzerland. I love hiking, and the landscape there is absolutely beautiful. Even though it can be very strenuous at times, the view is always worth it. I can really recommend it to everyone.

What are your hobbies?
I am passionate about tennis, enjoy skiing and love hiking with my family – both on flat terrain and in the Alps.
What dream would you like to realise?
My dream is to get a sailing licence – I come from the North Sea coast and have wanted to do this for a long time.
What is essential for you on a working day?
My focus time! At least once a day, I consciously take time to concentrate on prioritising my current tasks and structuring my work – whether in the morning or in the evening.

What do you particularly enjoy doing on holiday?
I love visiting lots of new places, cities and cultures. I enjoy trying out a wide variety of culinary dishes. I love to go to Spain, where I can clear my head.
What do you particularly like about your job? What do you like most?
I particularly like the varied work and my lovely colleagues. Despite the size of the company, everyone knows everyone else, which made me feel like I belonged straight away. What I like about my job is that I can see the results outside of work. When I see a Solarlux product, I know that I have probably held it in my hands before.
What was your dream job as a child? As a child, I always wanted to be a footballer, as I play and watch a lot of football myself. For a long time, I considered following in my uncle's footsteps and doing something in IT. But I quickly realised that working in an office wasn't for me. That's why I decided to go into the trades.
