A breath of fresh air at the Schlossalm

Austria

Holidays in the mountains are increasingly taking place outside the skiing season. In order to be able to offer visitors attractive options all year round, Gasteiner Bergbahnen is focusing on a new concept – at an altitude of 2,100 metres.

The old Schlossalm building is currently being replaced by a new mountain restaurant featuring an indoor playground and a virtual mountain experience world. Surveys have shown that the choice of holiday destination is increasingly influenced by the culinary offering, and the Schlossalm is rising to this challenge with great skill.
In addition to revising the menu, the overall experience in the restaurant area will be completely reimagined: instead of small windows with ruffled curtains, 3.35-metre-high Megaline folding glass walls will soon open up breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The concept is already generating excitement even before completion, with the new restaurant having been booked for its first weddings.
